8 special occasions made more amazing with fireworks
It can be tough to find ways to celebrate special occasions that are, well, special enough. We’ve got the answer, the missing ingredient in your big party plans – fireworks
Here are 8 occasions when only fireworks can make your celebrations truly amazing:
1. Proposals. If you want to plan a huge surprise (or dazzle your partner so much that they just say yes!), fireworks can be a wonderful idea. You may not be able to get your fireworks to spell out your partner’s name, but you can still sweep them off their feet with a big romantic gesture.
2. Wedding anniversaries. A lasting, loving relationship is something to be treasured, so make sure you mark each big anniversary. Go away for a weekend, exchange thoughtful gifts or get together with your loved ones, hold hands and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.
3. Weddings. Fireworks at wedding receptions are such a popular choice that it’s rare now to see a ceremony that isn’t followed by bright lights, dazzling colours and an array of bangs, crackles and whistles. It’s a really special occasion, so you’ll want to create a huge spectacle to celebrate it.
4. Landmark birthdays. If you’ve got a 21st, 30th, 40th or any other big birthday coming up, you’ll be looking for something really special to mark the occasion. You only get to do this once, so make it count. Throw a big party and invite everyone you know, then dazzle them with some fireworks!
5. Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. This coming-of-age ceremony is a hugely important one for most young Jewish teens, and it’s well worth celebrating. You have to work hard preparing for the big event, so it might be nice to have a bit of a party afterwards to celebrate. You can make your Bar/Bat Mitzvah a bit different from everyone else’s by arranging a little fireworks display for friends and family. You’re becoming an adult, and that’s an occasion worth marking.
6. Prom. After leaving school or college, most people enjoy the chance to say goodbye to their friends and teachers by attending a prom or valedictory dinner. If you’re on the prom organising committee or you’re planning an after-party, make things extra special with a few fireworks – after all, you only leave school once!
7. Graduations. You’ve been slogging away for years and the time has finally come – you’ve graduated. There’s nothing better to mark the occasion than a great big party, where you can blow off some steam and celebrate your hard work – just don’t forget the fireworks!
8. Launch of a new company. A new business needs to get noticed and to do this, you need to hold a launch event for your new venture. Whether it’s a product launch or an event to mark the inauguration of the company, make sure you plan a big, memorable event that is hard to ignore. Invite all the movers and shakers in your industry, show them a good time and finish the whole day off with a huge fireworks display – there couldn’t be a better start for your new business!
